Al-Halbousi chairs the meeting of the Finance Committee to complete the discussion of the budget law

Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, chaired, on Saturday, the meeting of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, to complete the discussion of the draft federal budget bill for the fiscal year 2021.

The Media Department of the House of Representatives stated, in a statement, that "Al-Halbousi chaired the meeting of the Finance Committee to complete the discussion of the draft federal budget bill for the fiscal year 2021."

Yesterday, Friday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee voted on 15 paragraphs within the federal general budget for the fiscal year 2021, including canceling the deduction from employees' salaries, reducing the budget of the three presidencies by 20% and other paragraphs included in the draft budget law.
