Parliamentary Finance expects a smooth passage of the budget after its meeting with Al-Kazemi

Today, Monday, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Majida Al-Tamimi, expected that the budget passage would be "smooth" after the committee met with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi yesterday, pointing out that its presentation and voting on it may be the end of this week.
Tamimi said in a statement to "Tigris", "The meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi was very fruitful and the visions were identical regarding cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities."
She added that "the meeting is a prelude to pass the budget smoothly inside the parliament and work continues to end some of the remaining financial paragraphs, including the paragraph on the Kurdistan region."
Al-Tamimi indicated that "presenting the budget for a vote may be at the end of this week or in much at the beginning of next week, if there is agreement on it."
The members of the Finance Committee had met with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and confirmed that the Prime Minister did not express any objection to the amendments made by the committee to the budget paragraphs.
