He continued, "We support the agreement that was reached between the regional government and the federal government regarding the general budget of Iraq for the year 2021," adding, "We hope that the vote on the draft budget will be held in the House of Representatives."

The statement pointed out that "the president of the Kurdistan government has reiterated that the region always wants a radical solution to the problems with the federal government on the basis of securing the constitutional rights and entitlements of the Kurdistan region in a manner that preserves its entity and takes into account its federal privacy, while respecting the principles of partnership and balance."

In turn, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Parliamentary Bloc, Vian Sabri, confirmed that "the delay in approving the state budget came after the Finance Committee had drawn up amendments and transfers in it, and the government announced the formation of a committee to study it before approval."

Sabri added that "the delay is also due to the existence of structural problems in the budget and major changes that the federal government may not be able to implement and implement," noting that "approving the budget will be either at the end of this month or at the beginning of next month."
