Start of the conference to discuss a five-year national development plan in Erbil

Erbil / obelisk: launched in the province of Arbil, Sunday, the conference discussed a five-year national development plan hosted by the Ministry of Planning in the presence of delegations from all governorates of Iraq.



The reporter said "obelisk" who attends the conference that the Iraqi Planning Ministry and in cooperation with the U.S. Agency for International Development and the United Nations Development under the theme "Towards a diversified economy competitive and sustainable" convene a conference to discuss the draft National Development Plan 2013-2017, in the province of Arbil.



The reporter pointed out that delegations from all of Iraq's provinces, representing local governments participate in the conference as well as representatives from the Ministries of Finance and Municipal and Provincial Affairs and the Council of Ministers and lasts for three days.



The Iraqi government had launched Plan 2010 - 2014, under the theme "Towards a diverse Iraqi economy and sustainable", and set goals to reduce the disparities between urban and rural areas, and the reconstruction and development of infrastructure, and increase gross domestic product by about 10% annually.
