Sabah: Kuwait is ready to remove Iraq from Chapter VII

Prime Minister of Kuwait Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, his government was ready to help Iraq out of Chapter VII, at the time it demanded that Baghdad formally move to Chapter VI of the Charter of the United Nations after fulfilling all its obligations.

In the same context he met with Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari in the headquarters of the Ministry of the ambassadors of the five permanent members of the Security Council accredited to Iraq. Zebari reviewed the Iraq and support the efforts of the members of the Security Council out of the provisions of Chapter VII in the areas of disarmament, weapons of mass destruction and the penal system and the siege and the oil-for-food program.
