The independence of the Central Bank

Economist reported that the independence of the Central Bank is required and desirable, provided that meshes with the role of government supervision.

Raed Fahmi said "morning" banking business requires the need for compatibility and harmony between fiscal and monetary policies and the integration of business and political act of tools for each of them in order to achieve economic growth and rebuild and modernize and develop infrastructure physical and institutional infrastructure and diversify the productive base of the Iraqi economy, as well as social objectives, and disposition of equitable distribution of resources,
He called for the development issues throughout the controversy over the central bank in its proper context, away from the dispute for access to sound economic vision and performance evaluation and upgrading of the institutional building and his tools effectively economic, financial and monetary.
