Security preparations to protect polling stations and voters in Mosul

Baghdad, Mosul: Nofal narrator (morning) - The Electoral Commission for elections, the date of the commencement of voting your local provincial council elections in the provinces of Nineveh and Anbar, on June 17, will be ongoing.
The Commission said at a news conference Monday: your vote for the local provincial council elections in the provinces of Anbar and Nineveh, will take place in 17 of the June current, while the public will vote in the 20 of the same month, indicating that the special voting in Anbar include 34 thousand voters, and in Nineveh by 60 thousand.
For her part, the security committee of the Electoral, in the words of its president, the team Ahmed al-Khafaji, willingness to hold elections in the provinces of Anbar and Nineveh, Khafaji said in a press statement: We are predisposed and are ready to conduct provincial elections of local, in the provinces of Anbar and Mosul, on schedule.
The Council of Ministers had announced, in its twentieth meeting, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, agreed with the Electoral Commission proposal required the 20th day of June 2013 as the date for provincial elections in Nineveh and Anbar instead of the Fourth of July.
For its part, confirmed that the security services in Mosul readiness to provide protection for about 716 polling stations, and about 1.8 million voters will go to the polling stations in the province of Nineveh on the twentieth of this month.
