The Council of Commissioners on Wednesday announced the abolition of a number of electoral stations, both in the elections, inside or outside, totaling 1021 station in the elections of deputies 2018.

According to a statement issued by the Council today, technical and legal committees were formed from the staff of the Commission in this regard. It worked for several days and 102 stations were canceled in 10 governorates, including some stations of general voting with the special with conditional voting for the displaced and the population movement. The parties on the polling day were distributed to the provinces and agencies (Arbil 7) (Anbar 51) (Baghdad / Karkh 17) (Saladin 11) (Nineveh 16).

The statement added that while the Commission not only complaints of parties, but sent technical committees specialized for the purpose of auditing the stations, which are believed to have been manipulated where the technical committees (852) stations out of (2000) have been audited by those committees in the National Office in Baghdad (Al-Anbar), Al-Anbar (50), Sulaymaniyah 96 (Baghdad / Rusafa 3), Baghdad / Karkh 3, Dohuk 224, Diyala 2, Salahuddin 36) and Nineveh 179).

Thus, the number of stations that have been canceled (954) stations by the technical committees in the Commission.

 As for canceled stations in the elections abroad, there were 67 stations distributed in the following countries: Germany 10, Jordan 22, America 31, Sweden 2, Britain 1 and Turkey 1).

The total number of canceled stations is 1,021 in and out of Iraq in the 2018 elections.

The statement said that the formation of committees to investigate the investigation of the defaulters.

The Council concluded by saying that the Commission confirms the integrity of its procedures in the electronic counting and sorting and is open to all parties and electoral lists and is working seriously to examine all the objections to the parties and candidates and continues to receive appeals and will not hesitate to address any violations and take legal action against the defaulters.
