[ltr]Baghdad / Source News / .. Economic expert called dominant Khayat, on Friday, to form a committee on behalf of (economic security) in the security ministry.[/ltr]


[ltr]Khayat said Agency / Source News / "The work of this committee will protect the national economy, because there are many points of seeking to sabotage the national economy."[/ltr]


[ltr]He added that "this committee if formed will have an active role in stimulating economic activity and supported through the protection afforded by these sectors."[/ltr]


[ltr]He explained that "in most countries of the world there is such a committee, but there are large corporations fight any sabotage of the national economy," noting that "the government an obligation to protect the Iraqi economy because it has become threatened by vandalism which affects everything"[/ltr]


[ltr]Khayat stressed that "to deprive Iraq of its share of water, which comes from Turkey is one of the acts of sabotage of the national economy," pointing to n "Iraq is exposed to an economic war not less than the danger of the war being waged by the security forces against terrorism."[/ltr]


[ltr]And warned the United Nations, of the consequences of the deterioration of the food security situation "fragile" mainly in Iraq with the continuation of the "deterioration" of agricultural land and irrigation systems, climate and the growing phenomenon of desertification against increased reliance on imported food to feed the growing numbers of the population, while showed that about six million Iraqis make up 20 percent of the population, almost "deprived of food or exposed to food insecurity."[/ltr]
