Agreement to abolish tariffs in Latin America

Said Mexican Economy Minister Ildefonso Joachardo bloc of Latin American countries including Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Chile almost finished negotiations abolition of tariffs on all trade between them.
The four countries had agreed during a meeting held in Colombia in May to abolish tariffs on 90 percent of goods and services The Joachardo said that these countries are very close to agree on the remaining ten percent.
The Joachardo said states also approached to reach a final agreement on the conditions governing the rules of origin.
He added that there are still a few issues to be overcome, including how to treat some agricultural products, but said: that is planned to conclude the trade talks on Monday.
