Kurdistan: Barzani's visit to Baghdad to discuss three files

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Kurdistan Alliance bloc said on Saturday that the visit of the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government to discuss the upcoming Baghdad three files, notably the oil pipeline from the region to Turkey.

A member of the bloc, Schiller Aziz's (IMN) that "Nechirvan Barzani will discuss in his upcoming visit to Baghdad, the inclusion of allocations within the budget of the Peshmerga forces and the Ministry of Defense, and will discuss the project as well as the new pipeline to export oil from Kurdistan to Turkey."

"The visit will examine the financial dues to oil companies operating in Kurdistan," indicating that "the visit will be close."

And opposes the federal government to export oil from Iraqi territory without the supervision and follow-up directly from the Ministry of Oil by constitutional articles.

And the Chair of the provincial government during the past few days a series of talks with Turkish officials on cooperation in the field of energy through oil exports to Turkey.
