Kurdistan MP confirms the export of the first shipment of oil from the Kurdistan region to world

BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance, a member of the parliamentary Commission on oil, Mohammed Qasim Mashkati confirmed that the Kurdistan Region exported its first shipment of crude oil to world markets .

He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / : "The Kurdistan Regional Government exported the first shipment of oil to world markets, with the approval of the central government , and the province will double the shipments of oil to world markets in the next few months ."

It is mentioned that sources in the oil sector announced on last Tuesday that the Kurdistan region began exporting crude oil to world markets, away from the central government in Baghdad .

Informed trade sources said: " Paortranc Company , which acts as an intermediary used by the Kurdistan Regional Government to export oil from Turkey , sold 30 tons of oil of Shikhan field for download, in the period from 6-10 of January 2013 ." /
