Information Minister Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, the Kuwaiti government "resigned" on Monday to the Amir, after days of the decision of the Constitutional Court invalidated the legislative elections.

Abdullah said in a statement to KUNA news agency, that "the government presented its resignation to the Prince of the country," Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad, without further details.

The government headed by Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak, and consisting of 16 ministers, was formed four months ago in the wake of parliamentary elections won by the opposition Islamic and tribal, but the pressure exerted by the opposition in recent weeks, forced two ministers in the government to submit their resignations.

The Constitutional Court ruled, and final judgments, Wednesday (June 20, 2012) the invalidity of the National Assembly elections under the control of the Islamist opposition and tribal peoples, and to restore the previous board, which dissolved the Amir in December 2011 where the form of pro-government majority in the former board.

The opposition announced earlier in the day, they carry the "people of influence and power," responsibility for "tampering with the unity of the people and stability", accusing the Constitutional Court to "transcend the limits of its mandate and interfering in political action to grant itself the power to override the authority of the state and the power of the nation."

Emir of Kuwait has agreed Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, on the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak and ministers, that all of them continue to run urgent matters until the formation of his new ministry.

The source confirmed that the ministerial consultations will start from the traditional Monday with the heads of parliaments of former and current stability of the choice of prime minister and the issuance of a decree Petklifa form a government.
