XXXXX : Postpone the parliamentary session is unconstitutional and not the prerogative of the President of the Age

Deputy for the State of Law coalition, on Monday, for limiting the powers of the President of the Age in Parliament on repeating section and choose a new president of the Council of Representatives, and among that the postponement of the parliamentary session is illegal and unconstitutional and is not the prerogative of the President of the Age or any political bloc Other, confirmed that the process postponement disappointing to the Iraqi people and help to sow tension in the street.

The head of the House of Representatives older Mehdi al-Hafez decided on Monday to postpone the parliamentary session scheduled for the second, on Tuesday, to 12 from next August, after the failure of the first meeting of the selection of the speaker and his two deputies.
The Iraqi Council of Representatives held on Tuesday, (the first of July 2014), the first meeting of the electoral cycle, the third headed by MP older, Mehdi al-Hafez, and the presence of 255 deputies and the Prime Minister outgoing Nuri al-Maliki, and former speaker of parliament, Osama al-Nujaifi, and Ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions in Iraq, and the District of national coalition led by Iyad Allawi, without being able to elect a speaker and two deputies, what forced him to adjourn the meeting on Tuesday, (July 8, 2014).
