The Electoral Commission on Saturday set the date for re-counting and manual counting of the results of the elections, pointing out that the process will be held in the presence of United Nations observers and international observers.


"The process of manual counting and counting begins on Tuesday (July 3, 2018)," spokesman Sami Laith Jabr Hamza said in a statement received by the Journal News. "The determination of the electoral centers and the stations where the counting and counting of all Governorates based on complaints, appeals and related official reports. "


He explained that "the process of manual counting and sorting will be fully to the offices of elections abroad to Iran, Turkey, Britain, Lebanon, Jordan, the United States and Germany and take the necessary action by the Commission and related parties to transfer the ballot boxes to Baghdad," noting that " If this is not possible for any reason. "


He pointed out that "the process of counting and sorting will be in the presence of United Nations observers and representatives of embassies of foreign countries and agents of political parties and international and local observers and media," noting that "the Ministries of Defense and the Interior will ensure the process of counting and manual sorting in full."


He explained that "the process will be in the presence of members of the Electoral Commission for elections and within the electoral office for each of the provinces of Kirkuk, Sulaymaniyah, Arbil, Dohuk, Nineveh, Salah al-Din and Anbar, respectively, starting from the province of Kirkuk on the date mentioned," noting that "the rest of the provinces will be ordered respectively and according to the dates As determined by the Commission, as for the funds that were transferred to Baghdad will be counting and sorting in Baghdad. "


It is noteworthy that the judiciary assigned 9 judges to run the Electoral Commission, to oversee the re-counting and manual counting of the results of the elections after the existence of fraud.
