Legal: Announcement of final election results may be after Eid

The legal expert, Ali al-Tamimi, on Wednesday, that the duration of the decision on appeals for election results 10 days, and therefore the announcement of the final results of the elections may be after Eid al-Adha.
Al-Tamimi said in a statement to Al-Mawloma that Law No. 11 of 2008 set the period of decision on the appeal of the elections by 10 days starting from the submission of the request so that the announcement of the final results will be on the 24th of this month, especially as the Commission completed the receipt of appeals on Yesterday (August 14th).
He added that "the decision on appeals is binding and binding and can not be challenged and discrimination, and after the end of the period of 10 days, the Commission will send the final results to the Federal Court for approval," noting that "the day of decision appeals may be one of the days of Eid al-Adha, Results immediately after the holiday. "
Tamimi said that "the role of the Council of Judges assigned will end when the Federal Court approved the results, and will be sent by the Court to the President of the Republic for the issuance of a presidential decree to hold the first session of Parliament, which will be performed section."
