Samson:  The parliamentary economy reveals efforts to amend the investment law to increase opportunities

The Committee on Economy and Investment parliamentary, on Wednesday, seeking to amend the investment law in the coming days to increase foreign investment, indicating that the current law is an oppressor for all investors.

Nada Shaker Jodat, a member of the committee, said in a statement that "the parliamentary committee on economy and investment is looking at rewriting and amending the investment law and granting it economic flexibility away from the bureaucracy."

"The amendments to the law will grant the investor new concessions to encourage investment and pumping money in the Iraqi market, as well as the formation of a joint committee of all circles to give the investor leave without review dozens of competent departments."

"The law will give the prime minister the authority to contract directly with the investor or to form a higher body capable of granting investors visas and banking facilities," Judd said.

"The amendment of the investment law is an important point to eliminate unemployment and the return of industry and the private sector in Iraq (wink) and raise the market value of the Iraqi dinar in light of the inability of the government investment budget to make any development mentioned in all sectors.    LINK

At a time when the Ministry of Industry and Minerals confirmed the urgent need for such a conference contributes to the development of infrastructure, the Ministry of Communications has recognized the urgent need for the development of the Internet service across the country.

Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation relations between Iraq and the United States in all fields,

And the economic affairs in particular and to achieve the interests of Iraq and preserve its independence and sovereignty and promote opportunities for development and stability in the region

This came during a telephone call from Vice President Mike Bens, where he conveyed the latest greetings of President Trump and the US government to form the Iraqi government,

Reiterated his country's support for the Iraqi government's aspirations to achieve the aspirations of the people and the desire to expand the relations of joint cooperation between the two countries, praising the opening of the Green Zone to all citizens.     link

(KUNA) - US President Donald Trump signed on Tuesday the "Relief and Accountability Act on the Genocide in Iraq and Syria" which will direct humanitarian aid, stability and recovery assistance to various minorities in both countries.

"The bill directs the State Department to encourage foreign governments to identify and prosecute persons suspected of crimes against humanity, genocide or war crimes, including members of foreign terrorist organizations operating in Iraq or Syria," White House deputy spokesman Lindsay Walters said in a statement. "He said.

Walters noted that President Trump's administration remains committed to defeating the so-called "da'ash" and providing constant support to the individuals targeted by their efforts.

The law was passed between the Republican and Democratic parties unanimously in the House of Representatives and the Senate.     link
