United Nations in Iraq at the headquarters of the United Nations Mission
file missing Kuwaiti property and Iraq's efforts in the implementation
of its obligations in this file to get out of Chapter VII on Sunday,
04/28/2013 , in the presence of Chairman of the Department of Political
Affairs in the Middle East and West Asia Mr. Victor Chriakov and the
director of the Department of Humanitarian Affairs in the Ministry of
Human Rights Mr. Thamer Staff and to the representative of the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohammed al-Anbari.

Mr.
Georgi Boston at the beginning of the meeting that Iraq has made
considerable progress towards resolving the missing file and Kuwaiti
property and carried out most of its obligations in this file that the
Security Council will hold a meeting next June to discuss this topic,
and expected out of Iraq from Chapter VII soon.

For
his part, HE the minister said that the Iraq deal from the beginning
with this file by the humane and ethical and made great efforts to
implement its obligations and that there is a desire and the will to
Iraq to continue to cooperate to end this file because the Iraqi people
have more than half a million missing as a result of policies criminal
system defunct, noting that the Ministry of Human Rights has dealt
professionally with all the information that it receives about the
whereabouts of the remains of missing Kuwaitis.

He
Ma'aleh The ministry called through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to
supply any information from citizens and witnesses from inside and
outside Iraq on the whereabouts of the remains of missing Kuwaitis, and
the teams ministry conducted a search and under the supervision of
representatives of the Tripartite Commission and the International Red
Cross in many locations in exceptional circumstances are very difficult
including climatic variables, some of these sites contain like quintiles
site in the province of Dhi Qar on environmental pollution as well as
having some remnants of war such as unexploded bombs.

The
Minister reiterated his call to remove this file from the international
framework of bilateral cooperation between Iraq and Kuwait under the
supervision of a third party, especially after the Kuwaiti side
expressed approval of the issuance of any international resolution in
this regard, noting that it will contribute to remove Iraq from Chapter
VII.

For
his part, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that he
served as President of the team and that Iraq border pillars finished
the border file, at the same time presenting statistics on the numbers
of Kuwaiti documents handed over by Iraq to the Kuwaiti side since 2003.
