11 nations pledged at the end of a regional meeting held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday, counter-terrorism and the threat posed by the organization, "State," which dominated large parts of Iraq and Syria.

The final statement said the meeting, which was followed by Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal, said that the nations gathered "share a commitment to stand united against the threat posed by terrorism to the region and the world, including what is known as the organization of the state in Iraq and the Levant."

The statement called for "the development of plans and policies, and the sharing of roles, to eliminate the terrorist organizations", stressing that "any move security against terrorism must be associated with the fight against deviant thoughts, and develop a strategy to control the flow of arms to areas of conflict in the region."

Al-Faisal added that "the meeting was keen to get out a unified vision to fight terrorism militarily, militarily and politically, economically and intellectually."

For his part, the foreign minister said American John Kerry said the meeting had made progress, and that the coalition against terrorism will expand.

In response to a question regarding the roles required of the Arab countries in this field, Kerry stressed the role of each participating country this meeting in the face of terrorism, referring to the financial and military support, and to prevent the arrival of money and fighters to state regulation.

Kerry also stressed the lack of use of ground forces of any country in the fight against state regulation, Iraq and Syria, saying that the Iraqi army and the Syrian opposition will make an in this matter, explaining that his country would focus on air strikes, according to the strategy announced by President Barack Obama.

And won the meeting of great importance as it came ahead of a conference on Iraq's security, which will be held next Monday in Paris, to coincide with the meetings of the General Assembly of the United Nations, which will be launched in the fourth quarter of September.
