House Speaker Dr. Salim al-Jubouri, received in his office, on Wednesday, the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in Iraq Georgi Posten. During the meeting, they reviewed beams governmental and parliamentary reform which was endorsed by Parliament and the mechanism for their implementation on the ground.

President al-Jubouri, stressed that the current phase will witness a number of changes to improve the standard of living and service to the Iraqi people the situation, pointing out that the approval of Parliament to Orkta government and parliamentary reform will contribute to the reform of the political process by relying on the competence and experience.

The meeting also dealt with means of coordination between the government and the parliament in respect of any new reforms, noting that the approved reforms will the political process through the fight against corruption, which is pervasive in all aspects of the state through the activation of the role of the control and elimination.

The sovereignty that the most important reforms pass laws that would boot the overall reconciliation, which is the main base for the country's stability items, calling at the same time that the United Nations' role in monitoring and providing advice through the implementation of reforms and urged all parties to abide by their service in the public interest.
