Samson: An economist reveals the bank's printing of large amounts of currency with small categories to replace them with damage

He added that "the Central Bank has printed large quantities recently of the Iraqi currency with small groups for the purpose of pumping to markets and pull the damage and eliminate the scarcity," noting that "the bank faces two problems in resolving the matter works to resolve the first of the  counting and sorting of currency printed and the second refusal of banks to receive damaged currencies For the purpose of withdrawing from the markets. "

He pointed out that "the bank is working to solve the problem of counting and sorting first and then go to pump and pull the damaged."

A brief description of the research

The interest of this research paper is limited to its first part in two things. The first is to determine the objectives of the research and to establish the definition that you adopt for the variable around which the research is centered, ie exchange rate The Iraqi Dinar; the second is to explain the methodology adopted by the paper in the analysis. 

The second part of the paper focuses on clarifying the mechanism of determining the dinar exchange rates against foreign currencies in Iraq and highlighting the pivotal role in this mechanism for the specific exchange rate of the dinar, ie the dinar exchange rate against the dollar according to the window / auction of the Central Bank of Iraq and the dinar exchange rate according to the local market. 

After highlighting the importance of the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar in accordance with the window / auction of the Central Bank of the Iraqi public budget, the paper in this section tends to present these particulars for both the revenue side and the expenditure side of the general budget responsible for the difference in the overall effect of each of these two sides to the change in price Exchange of this dinar. 

The third part of the paper was dedicated For the mathematical analysis of the impact of the change in the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar in accordance with the window / auction Central Bank on both sides of the Iraqi budget after taking into account the specifics of each item. And this analysis of the people of research to reach a number of conclusions expressed mathematically and useful in making appropriate decisions on the course of exchange rates of the dinar against the dollar in general and the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar under the window / auction CBI in particular. 

The paper presents in its fourth part a case study in which mathematical analysis equations are used for the effect of the devaluation of the dinar against the dollar in accordance with the Central Bank auction (9.09%) on the total of the general budget revenues for 2016, It is clear from this application that such a reduction in the dinar exchange rate according to the Central Bank auction leads to a reduction of the budget deficit by ( 23.6)%). 

In the latter part, the researcher lists what he considered to be the most important conclusions reached in this paper.

The economic expert, on behalf of Jamil Antoine, said on Friday that the value of the dollar is going to rise in light of the conditions experienced by the region as a result of US policies, noting that the central bank put solutions to avoid the rise of the dollar.

Antoine said that "US sanctions against Iran will affect the Iraqi economy, as the value of the dollar will rise after the increase in demand for it."

He added that "the appreciation of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar, it is imperative for the central bank to increase the amount launched by the dollar in the Iraqi markets."

He pointed out that "the central bank has developed solutions, the increase in the value of the dollar, by launching the dollar in larger quantities than the former in order to create a balance between him and the dinar."

He explained that "Iraq is committed to its financial policy in foreign transactions, especially in relation to the dollar, to ensure the continuation of these transactions without any obstacles."      link

A political source is likely to ratify the Federal Supreme Court on the results of the parliamentary elections on Monday, indicating that the President of the Republic will call the House of Representatives to convene immediately after the feast.

The source said that "the Judicial Committee in the Electoral Commission ended the examination process appeals and sent the results to the Federal Supreme Court for ratification," noting that "the Federal Court promised to ratify the election results next Monday to begin forming the next government."

Samson:  Hakim al-Magurk: Iraq needs a strong government and the national majority is imminent

The leader of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, Saturday told US President Donald Trump's envoy to the International Coalition Against Terrorism, Bert Magurk, that Iraq needs a strong government, pointing out that the national majority is imminent.

"During the reception of US President Trump's envoy to the International Counterterrorism Alliance, we emphasized Iraq's need for a strong and capable government capable of meeting the aspirations of the Iraqi people under the terms set by the supreme religious authority," al-Hakim said in a statement. 

And "the importance of ending political debates and the removal of the government from political rivalries and to give priority to the public interest," pointing out that "the chances of the national majority project is imminent and explained than before, especially as we approach the ratification of the Federal Court on the results of the elections." 

Al-Hakim called for "constructive dialogue to end the state of conflicts in the region so that the people can live in peace and move to improve their development." 

 He called on "the need to take into account the special circumstances of Iraq and its relationship with neighboring countries and the region, especially the relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran," referring to "repeated rejection of the policy of starving peoples."  LINK
