France offers a large loan to Iraq

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves LODRIAN announced that his country had agreed to grant a one-billion-dollar loan to Iraq for the reconstruction of the war-affected areas against the terrorist.
Ludran's comments came after negotiations in Baghdad with his Iraqi counterpart Mohammed al-Hakim.
During his visit to Baghdad, Loudrian held two meetings with Prime Minister Adel Abdel Mahdi and Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi.
For his part, Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi thanked France for the cancellation of the debts owed by Iraq through the Paris Club, praising the importance of relations with Paris for Baghdad, and expressed the desire of the federal government to expand cooperation with France.
For his part, Laudrian expressed Paris's full support for Iraq and its government, stressing that France stands by his side in the reconstruction after supporting him in defeating Dahesh.
