Washington - 31 - 8 (KUNA) - U.S. President Barack Obama with British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Francois Hollande in separate telephone conversations last night's developments in the crisis in Syria, stressing that the international community will not tolerate the use of chemical weapons.
The White House said in a statement that this research comes "as part of the ongoing discussions on the Syrian regime's use of chemical weapons last week."
The statement added that Obama and Cameron stressed during مباحثة telephone that "the use of (President Bashar) Assad of chemical weapons is unacceptable and can not be tolerated."
He said, "As always, the United States affirms that it has a special relationship with the United Kingdom and it is a close ally and friend."
He stressed that Obama and Cameron "agreed to continue to consult closely with regard to Syria and a wide range of security challenges facing our two countries together."
The White House confirmed in a separate statement that Obama and Holland also agreed that "the international community can not tolerate the use of chemical weapons and the Syrian regime must be held accountable and send a strong message that the use of chemical weapons is unacceptable."
