[ltr]Brussels - 17 - 9 (KUNA) - The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) here today the United Nations to impose measures under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations on a draft resolution on Syria, as stated in the framework agreement reached between the United States and Russia in this regard.

The statement added, "We continue to support all efforts to reach a political solution to the conflict in Syria."
It is noted that the Council has been established, "Russia - NATO" at a summit between the two sides in Rome on May 28, 2002 to serve as the main body to promote cooperation between NATO and Russia.
