House of Representatives vote on a single law and end the second reading of the unified pension law 11/02/2013

House of Representatives voted at its thirty-second, which was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Qusay al-Suhail, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Representatives and in the presence of 227 deputy today Saturday, 11/02/2013, the draft law on accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, while finished the second reading of the draft Unified Retirement Act.
At the beginning of the meeting initiated by any of the above-Hakim Mr. Suhail stressed that the ongoing dialogues between Mr. Speaker, leaders and representatives of parliamentary blocs on the law of the House of Representatives election and when the agreement will be presented to the Council.
On the other hand, the Council voted on the bill join the Republic of Iraq to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and submitted by the Committees on Foreign Relations and the legal and Women, Family and Children, which aims to protect children internationally from the harmful effects as a result transferred or detained illegally and take action to ensure that their return to the State of habitual residence as well as ensuring protection of the rights of the visit and communication.

In interventions, ladies and gentlemen of Representatives on the bill Rep. Fatima Hamidi confirmed the importance of rewriting some of the terms contained in the law, calling for the definition and characterization of jihadist service.
The deputy governor called Zamili to the need to reduce the retirement age to 60 years of service to 10 years.
He suggested MP Abbas al-Bayati, an exception some segments, especially the army, police and teachers of the law, stressing the importance of equality of pension rights minister deputies.
