The European Union welcomed the agreement reached between the governments in Baghdad and Erbil on disputes related to oil exports, as a "decisive evolution and end the conflict between the Terminal."

The High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union, Federica Mgrena, in a press statement on Friday, said that "all parties have shown the ability and willingness to provide necessary for resolving the issue of concessions is of paramount importance in a critical time for the country's time, adding that the agreement bodes well in the direction of taking further steps to promote dialogue and reconciliation in the framework of the Constitution.

The statement stressed that the EU will continue to make the Iraqi efforts to maintain the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.

Washington and the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon also welcomed the agreement earlier in Baghdad and Erbil.

And announced the Regional Government in northern Iraq, on Thursday, to reach a comprehensive agreement with the Baghdad government on outstanding problems between the two sides, and especially with regard to the export of oil, and the transfer of funds from the Iraqi budget for the region.

According to a statement issued by the "Adel Abdul-Mahdi, and the oil minister in the federal government and Barzani Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region (northern Iraq) and Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister, managed in a joint meeting and after a fruitful discussion, to reach an agreement to create an equal and comprehensive solution to all outstanding problems between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government. "

The statement, which was faxed to Anatolia, that "as a first step it was agreed that the federal government transferred $ 500 million to the Government of the Kurdistan region, while the Kurdistan Regional Government put 150 thousand barrels of crude oil per day at the disposal of the federal government."

It pointed out that the Prime Minister Barzani region of northern Iraq, will head the delegation arrives in Baghdad next few days "for the development of solutions and a fair and constitutional for all outstanding issues."
